Where to buy the 7-disc Dawn of the Dead 4K boxset in the US...

Dawn of the Dead : Limited Edition 4K UHD Blu-ray

Dawn of the Dead 1978 is without question, one of the best loved Horror films of all time. Most Horror fans would place DOTD right at the top of their list of favorite zombie movies.

So Zombie lovers where thrilled to hear the news of a 7-disc Dawn of the Dead 4K UHD Blu-ray set release for 2020, including 3 different versions of the classic zombie flick. The Theatrical Cut, The Extended Cannes Cut and The Argento Cut. Also packed into the set are audio CD’s, a book and tonnes of extras, documentaries, and interviews.

Perfect! except this incredible release will only be available in the UK.

Will Dawn of the Dead 4K work in the US?

Yes, the 4K discs are region free, meaning they will work on a US (or any other) 4K Blu-ray player. However, the Special Features disc is only Blu-ray, not 4K and is Region B, so will not play in the US unless you have a multi-region Blu-ray player.

Where can I buy Dawn of the Dead 4K in the US?

Before you go giving insane amounts of cash to the scalpers on eBay, consider setting up a UK Amazon account and pre-ordering that way, or there is still a chance to pre-order through Zavvi US. There were pre-orders available from DiabolikDVD but have since become unavailable.

“When there’s no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth.”

With the U.S. in the grip of a zombie apocalypse, four desperate survivors find refuge in a shopping mall. But the flesh-eating hordes, still possessed by an instinctive desire to consume, are drawn to the same destination. What follows is a nail-biting fight for survival.

George A. Romero’s Dawn of the Dead remains one of the greatest horror films ever made, often imitated but never equalled, and is now presented in a brand-new restoration.
